What Type Of Products Are Used To Clean?
At RealNeat Clean, we are committed to being as environmentally responsible as possible while still delivering outstanding results. Our team is trained to use gentle yet effective cleaning solutions that are safer for your home, your family, and our staff. We are happy to accommodate client-preferred products; however, we do not use harsh chemicals such as bleach, Pledge, or CLR. Instead, we regularly test and incorporate eco-friendly alternatives that meet our high standards, including vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, essential oils, dish soap, rubbing alcohol, and select natural store-bought cleaners. These products effectively disinfect, clean, and polish surfaces without unnecessary chemical exposure. In certain situations—such as oven cleaning—a fume-free commercial cleaner may be used due to heavy buildup and time limitations, though we are always happy to omit it upon request. For commercial and industrial spaces, product selection is discussed on an individual basis to ensure the safest and most effective approach, with cleaning solutions customized to meet each client’s specific needs.
What Can I Do To Prepare For My Cleaning Visits?
For Routine Cleaning:
Before we arrive, please clear dishes from the kitchen sink so it can be properly cleaned and disinfected. Tidying surfaces and floors helps us focus on detailed cleaning; if extra tidying is needed, just let us know ahead of time so it can be added to your service. Heavily cluttered or decorated areas may be cleaned around if items cannot be safely moved. Please also leave a toilet brush next to each toilet being cleaned, as we do not carry these between homes.
For Deep Cleaning:
To ensure a thorough clean, we recommend clearing off countertops, shelves, and heavily decorated areas so surfaces can be fully cleaned. Please secure or point out any fragile, valuable, or loose items (such as mirrors, fixtures, or heirlooms) before your appointment. Dishes should be removed from sinks and counters, trash cleared from rooms, and smaller rugs picked up in bathrooms, kitchens, and entryways. If you’d like areas behind furniture cleaned, please move larger pieces about one foot away from the walls prior to our arrival. A toilet brush should be available in each bathroom.
How Much Will It Cost To Clean My Home?
The cost of cleaning your home depends on several factors, including the size of your space, the type of cleaning you need, the level of detail required, and how often service is scheduled. Because every home is different, we offer free personalized estimates to ensure accurate and fair pricing. This allows us to tailor the service to your specific needs no hidden fees or surprises.
Do I Need To Be Home During The Cleaning?
No, you do not need to be home during your cleaning. Most of our clients are away at work or handling daily responsibilities while we take care of their home. When booking your service, we will arrange a secure method of entry such as a spare key, garage code, or door code. Our team always locks up after completing the service unless otherwise instructed. For initial cleanings, some clients prefer to be home to walk us through the space and point out any areas needing special attention, but this is completely optional. Please note that if we are unable to access the home at the scheduled time, a lock-out fee may apply.
Are You Bonded And Insured?
Yes. RealNeat Clean is fully bonded and insured for your peace of mind. Our team is trained, professional, and committed to treating your home or business with the highest level of care and respect.
Should I Tip My Cleaning Staff?
Tipping is always appreciated but never expected. If you feel your cleaning team has gone above and beyond, gratuities are a wonderful way to show appreciation. That said, the greatest compliment you can give is your continued trust and support.
How Does The Booking Work?
Simply submit our quick estimate request, and we’ll reach out within 24 hours with a personalized quote and to confirm any details. Once your cleaning is scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email along with our client guidelines to review and sign before your appointment. From there, you’re all set—sit back and enjoy the extra time while we handle the cleaning.
How Does Payment Work?
After your cleaning, we’ll email you an invoice that’s due upon receipt. You can pay by debit or credit card.
Any unpaid balances from previous cleanings must be paid before we can schedule new services. If late payments happen often, we may ask for payment before your cleaning.
We do ask for a debit or credit card on file if possible—it will only be charged if your invoice isn’t paid within 4 days.
What If I’m Not 100% Satisfied With The Cleaning?
Your satisfaction is our top priority! If any part of your cleaning doesn’t meet your expectations, please let us know within 24 hours. We’ll gladly come back to reclean the area.
We value your feedback and want to provide the best service possible. Please remember our team works hard and, while we may not be perfect, we’re committed to fixing any issues. Open communication helps us ensure every cleaning meets your standards.
Are Pets At Home OK?
We love pets! If your pet is friendly and comfortable around strangers and household noises like vacuums or mops, it’s fine for them to be out while we clean. If your pet is shy, anxious, or uncomfortable around strangers, we ask that they be kept in a separate room or crate during the cleaning. This ensures everyone stays safe and stress-free. Please note that our cleaners do not walk, feed, or clean up after pets. While our team is trained to handle pets safely, any aggressive behavior may require us to pause or reschedule the service until we can discuss options with you.
What If I Need To Cancel My Appointment?
We understand that plans can change. To help avoid last-minute cancellations, you’ll receive email and text reminders before your scheduled cleaning. We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel email or voicemail are both acceptable, and all messages are time-stamped. When you cancel, we’ll be happy to help you reschedule for a better time.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 25% of the cleaning fee, and same-day cancellations will be charged 50%. All cancellations must be made directly through our office.
What If Something Is Damaged Or Broken?
Our cleaners are trained to be honest, careful, and respectful of your home. If something is accidentally damaged, it will be documented with photos and reported to our office right away. While we take great care in every space, we understand that accidents can happen.
Once an issue is reported, we will contact you promptly to discuss a fair and timely solution. When appropriate, we will arrange to repair or replace the item, and insurance claims can be filed if needed, as our cleaners are fully insured. We kindly ask that any irreplaceable or fragile items be put away prior to service. Please also note that we cannot repair or replace items that had pre-existing damage or were not properly installed.
